Structural/Architectural Engineer

Job Purpose:

To provide dedicated engineering oversight and technical support for a Villa community project, ensuring all structural or architectural works are executed in line with design intent, regulatory standards, and project timelines.

The engineer will act as the primary liaison with the consultant and ensure all critical updates are reported directly to the stakeholder.

Subject Knowledge : Contracts, BOQ, Budgeting, Value engineering, understanding of drawing as per regulatory requirements, project management, quality control etc

Experience: Experience of Villa community Mid-rise development etc

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Oversight: Take full responsibility for supervising structural or architectural elements of the 60 Villa project from inception to completion.
• Consultant Coordination: Act as the main point of contact with the project consultant, attending regular meetings, reviewing submittals, and addressing design or technical issues in a timely manner.
• Reporting to Stakeholder: Provide regular updates, progress reports, and critical issue briefings directly to the Stakeholder to ensure transparency and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Design Review & Compliance: Review and validate drawings, technical documents, and specifications to ensure compliance with local authority regulations and project requirements.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor site execution to ensure work quality aligns with design standards and best practices. Raise flags on any deviations or non-compliance.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve any on-site structural or architectural issues in collaboration with contractors and consultants.
• Documentation & Approvals: Support documentation for authority approvals, variation orders, and other technical submissions.
