Structure Engineer

Position Purpose

This position is responsible for designing structures for Solar PV Systems.

Job Description

• Develop standardized structure packages for various PV module installations such as rooftops, PEB sheds, carports, shells, ground mounts etc. to optimize installation efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Design structures to withstand various wind speeds and capacities, ensuring structural integrity and safety.
• Responsible for optimizing structure designs to achieve cost-effective solutions without compromising quality and safety.
• Develop designs for both single and dual-axis tracking systems to maximize solar panel efficiency.
• Conduct structural analysis, generate Bills of Materials (BOM), and vet proposed structures with suppliers to ensure feasibility and compliance.
• Perform on-site structural inspections, verify materials, and ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Manage project profitability, maintain client relationships, and ensure deadlines are met by collaborating cross-functionally with internal and external teams.
• Conduct on-site inspections to gather data on as-built conditions, ensuring conformity with design plans and standards.

Experience and Qualification

• B.Sc. Civil Engineering from HEC recognized University.
• 02 to 04 years of relevant experience preferably in managing large scale Solar projects.

Specific Requirements

• Proficient in SAP2000, CAD, ETABs, etc.
• Strong understanding of wind load considerations and structural analysis.
• Experience in project management and client relationship management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
