Job Title:

Construction Site Engineer

Location:

Islamabad, Pakistan

1. Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory)
• Registration with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) preferred

2. Experience Requirements

• 8–12 years of relevant experience in construction/site execution
• Experience in residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects
• Fresh candidates may be considered for junior roles

3. Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of:
• Structural drawings and BOQs
• Site execution and supervision
• Concrete works, finishing, and QA/QC processes
• Should be familiar with QS scope of work complete in all respect
• Proficiency in:
• AutoCAD
• Microsoft Excel and MS Office
• Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and safety standards

4. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities on-site
• Ensure work is executed according to approved drawings and specifications
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants
• Monitor project progress and prepare daily/weekly reports
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
• Manage material usage and site inventory
• Assist in project planning and scheduling

5. Soft Skills

• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Leadership and team management
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

6. Other Requirements

• Willingness to work on-site (outdoor conditions)
• Basic knowledge of local construction bylaws (CDA regulations is a plus)
• Own transport is often preferred in Islamabad
