Student Employee - Graphic Artist, Elliott Student Union

JOB
Under the direction of the Marketing Graduate Assistant, the Elliott Student Union Graphic Artist creates designs, promotions, and materials in support of the Elliott Student Union’s missions.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Duties Include: Combine art and technology to communicate ideas through images for the promotion of the Elliott Student Union, its services, and programs.Participate in various stages of developing marketing programs and advertising materials to promote the Elliott Student Union.Become familiar with graphic design strategies best utilized by college unions. Assist with several key projects, such as the Union Birthday Bash, ESU special events, public outreach efforts, etc. Communicate and interact with departmental staff to ensure quality project plans/designs.Design flyers, advertisements, newsletters, logos, posters, brochures, and other print or digital media.Perform related duties and responsibilities as assigned.

SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Working Days and Hours: This is a part-time (10-15 hours/week) position during the school year (additional hours may be available over the summer). Availability to work shifts during normal business hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position requires a cover letter.
