Student Recruitment & Admissions Advisor

Are you a persuasive communicator with a passion for higher education? University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD) is looking for a dynamic Student Recruitment & Admissions Advisor to join our Professional Services function. In this role, you will act as a credible expert, guiding prospective students and their families through the journey from initial enquiry to successful enrolment.

As an integral member of the Student Recruitment team, you will drive growth by managing the student relationship cycle and ensuring we meet our ambitious enrolment targets.

The Role at a Glance

• Position: Student Recruitment & Admissions Advisor
• Reporting to: Student Recruitment Manager
• Purpose: To drive conversion from qualified leads to confirmed enrolments via a consultative sales approach.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Conversion: Execute direct activities to move students through the pipeline-from application to confirmation and final enrolment.
• Events & Outreach: Represent UOWD at school fairs, exhibitions, and presentations across the UAE and internationally.
• Expert Advising: Conduct accurate evaluations of applicant credentials and provide clear guidance on admission pathways.
• Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong networks with prospective students, parents, and the university's agent network.
• Strategic Input: Identify market trends and provide intelligence to help formulate domestic and international recruitment plans.

Who We Are Looking For

We are seeking a goal-oriented professional who can work independently while collaborating seamlessly with internal teams like Marketing, Finance, and Faculty.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
• Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience working with CRM platforms.
• Communication: Excellent written and spoken English skills are essential.
• Approach: A customer-service oriented and consultative sales mindset.
• Availability: Ability to work regular office hours with occasional evenings/weekends for events or international travel.
