Student Success Librarian (Newark)

The Student Success Librarian serves students, faculty, and staff of The Ohio State University at Newark and Central Ohio Technical College by designing, implementing, and evaluating information literacy instruction efforts, including in-class instruction and digital learning objects. Markets library services and develops programming. Provides library reference support and collaborates with other student support services at both institutions to meet student needs. Teaches credit-bearing online information literacy classes. Assists with collection development. This position also serves on campus, institution, and professional committees.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Advanced degree in relevant field may be desirable. 4 years of relevant experience required. 4-8 years of relevant experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications: MLS from an ALA-accredited program preferred.

The budget for this position is $55,700 - $72,000. The offer for this position will be based on internal equity and the candidate's qualifications

The Ohio State University at Newark offered its first classes in 1957 with a mission to provide affordable, open access to Ohio State for all Ohioans.
