Student Worker: Athletic Events Assistant

Job Duties

The Athletic Events Assistant will be responsible for performing office tasks. Primary duties include answering phones, working with our Hometown Ticketing software, assist with finding workers for athletic events and ensuring proper paperwork is on file with HR. This position will also assist with athletic events on an as needed basis including running a camera and setting up for sporting events.

Qualifications

Qualifications

Required knowledge and skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Ability to establish and maintain productive work relationships with staff and students.
Able to work independently to complete assignments neatly and accurately with little supervision.
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding student & customer information.

Required experience

General office environment
Attendance at athletic events. Could be exposed to possible hot and cold outdoor temperatures, rain, snow.
Some knowledge or background with sports preferred but not required.

Required educational background

Federal Work Study eligible preferred.
Current Butler student.
