Studio Manager / Producer ( Female only) Fashion industry

A studio manager/producer is urgently needed to join our team in Dubai, she will be working closely with the image communications director and responsible for the daily operations of a studio, overseeing projects from start to finish while managing staff, budgets, and client relations. This role includes scheduling, resource allocation, equipment maintenance, and ensuring the final product meets quality standards. Depending on the studio's size, duties can also extend to marketing, sales, and direct involvement in the creative process, according to Berklee and Screen Skills. Core responsibilities

  • Project and workflow management: Oversee projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they stay on schedule, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Financial management: Develop and manage budgets, track expenses, and handle invoicing and financial reporting.
  • Staff and team management: Supervise, train, and mentor studio staff; manage schedules; and foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Client relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, manage communications, set expectations, and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Studio operations: Ensure the studio facilities and equipment are properly maintained, stocked, and functional. This includes scheduling use and troubleshooting issues.

Additional duties (may vary by studio)

  • Marketing and sales: Secure new clients and market the studio's services.
  • Technical oversight: Assist in selecting equipment, and in some cases, may act as a lead engineer or producer.
  • Administrative tasks: Handle tasks like payroll, billing, and contract management, especially in smaller operations.
  • Hiring: Recruit and hire technical and creative staff.

Key skills and qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in fashion design or a related field
  • In depth knowledge of fabrics, materials, and garment construction
  • proven experience as a fashion designer with a strong portfolio
  • Strong leadership, management, and mentoring abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and adaptability.
  • Knowledge of studio operations, workflows, and best practices.
