Subcontract Engineer

🚨 We’re Hiring: Subcontract Engineer | Abu Dhabi 🚨

We are seeking an experienced Subcontract Engineer to join our Subcontract Control Department in Abu Dhabi. This is a 2-year contract role offering an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale EPC projects in the Oil & Gas sector.

📍 Location: Abu Dhabi

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

• Source, evaluate, and manage subcontractors/vendors, including contract negotiation and performance monitoring.
• Support market/bidding activities and prepare competitive bids, quotations, and cost estimates.
• Analyze project requirements and align subcontractor deliverables with timelines.
• Ensure compliance with subcontracting agreements, documentation, and industry standards.
• Participate in subcontract negotiations and finalize contractual terms & conditions.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, manage claims/disputes, and maintain related reports.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports and dashboards for bid evaluation and progress tracking.

🔹 Requirements:

• Master’s degree preferred.
• 7–10 years of experience in subcontract engineering and cost analysis within the Oil & Gas sector.
• Strong experience in EPC project planning and cost estimation .
• Proficiency in contract law, negotiation techniques, and risk management .
• GCC work experience, with UAE experience preferred .
• Strong cost analysis, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Fluency in English
