Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) Engineer to join our Abu Dhabi operations. The successful candidate will manage costs, contracts, and commercial aspects of MEP projects, ensuring profitability and compliance with UAE standards.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and manage Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates, and tender documents.

Monitor project budgets, variations, and cost control throughout project life cycle.

Evaluate subcontractor quotations, claims, and payment applications.

Issue interim and final payment certificates.

Conduct cost risk assessments and provide value engineering solutions.

Support contract administration and compliance with FIDIC and UAE construction laws.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 5 years’ QS experience in MEP contracting within the UAE.

Strong knowledge of FIDIC and Abu Dhabi Authority (ADM, ADDC) requirements.

Excellent negotiation, analytical, and reporting skills.

Software Knowledge

AutoCAD – for reading and extracting MEP quantities.

MS Excel (Advanced) – cost reporting, BOQ preparation, financial analysis.

CCS Candy / CostX / Planswift – digital take-off and cost estimation.

ERP Systems (Oracle / SAP / BuildSmart) – project cost control (preferred).

Revit MEP / Navisworks (BIM) – for 5D quantity extraction (advantageous).
