QA/QC Engineer

• Develop and implement the project quality plan and procedures.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and standards to ensure compliance.
• Ensure that all quality documentation (ITPs, method statements, checklists) is prepared and approved.
• Conduct internal audits to verify compliance with ISO standards, client requirements, and company procedures.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors on quality-related issues.
• Ensure proper training and awareness of quality standards among site staff.
• Verify that suppliers and subcontractors meet quality requirements before approval.
• Monitor material procurement, storage, and handling to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Review and approve subcontractor QA/QC plans and inspection test plans (ITPs).
• Initiate corrective and preventive actions when non-conformities are identified.
• Conduct inspections for materials, equipment, and workmanship at different project stages.
• Perform and witness required tests as per the ITP and project specifications.
• Verify calibration and validity of testing and measuring instruments.
• Prepare inspection requests (IRs), non-conformance reports (NCRs), and quality records.
• Maintain updated quality logs, reports, and inspection documentation.
• Coordinate with third-party laboratories for material testing.
• Reject and report any defective work or material that does not meet requirements.
• Ensure proper implementation of corrective actions for any identified defects.
• Monitor construction activities to confirm adherence to approved drawings and standards.
• Assist in final inspections, punch lists, and handover documentation.
