Summer Camp Coach/Counselor

Camp & Event Coach/Counselor - Be a Leader, Make an Impact!

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Camp Coaches/Counselors to join our team for an exciting summer camp experience. As a Camp Coach, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, fun, and engaging environment at our award-winning camps. You will be responsible for leading activities, providing guidance, and ensuring the well-being of all participants. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about working with children and fostering their development through various activities.

As a Camp & Events Coach/Counselor (AKA Game Master), you'll have the opportunity to shape young minds, inspire growth, and build an incredible community through the power of movement and play.

We're a family-owned Parkour facility that transforms lives through movement, offering parkour classes, camps, birthday parties, parent night outs, and community events. Our Game Masters are the driving force behind these positive experiences.

Current Opportunities:

  • Summer Camps: June 15th–August 21st (closed June 29th–July 5th)
  • Year-round Leadership Roles: No School Days and Monthly Parent Night Outs

As a Game Master, you're not just running activities - you're creating magic! You'll lead high-energy adventures, inspire creativity, and build an atmosphere where everyone wants to give their best. We're looking for Game Masters who bring their whole selves to work - your creativity, your energy, and your passion for making a difference. You'll be the kind of leader who can turn an ordinary day into an extraordinary adventure while maintaining strong group management and safety standards.

Essential Qualities & Skills:

  • Natural leadership abilities with a confident, engaging presence
  • High energy and stamina for active, movement-based activities
  • Creative problem-solver who thinks on their feet
  • Strong communication skills and ability to connect with both children and adults
  • Team player who elevates those around them
  • Strong behavior management and problem solving skills to effectively handle various situations with campers.
  • Certification in first aid or CPR is a plus; willingness to obtain certification.
  • Previous coaching, babysitting or childcare experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience in sports coaching or leading physical activities to promote teamwork and fitness (preferred).
  • Experience in coaching, teaching, or mentoring in any form (preferred).
  • Knowledge of childhood development principles to support the growth of campers (preferred).
  • Background in theater or performing arts to enrich camp programming (preferred).
  • Proficient in classroom management techniques to maintain order during structured activities (preferred).
  • CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)

Your Leadership Role Will Include:

  • Supervise and actively engage campers during activities while ensuring their safety and enjoyment.
  • Design and lead dynamic recreational activities including physical activity games, arts and crafts, and team-building exercises.
  • Create a positive camp atmosphere through effective behavior management strategies.
  • Support childhood development through mentoring and coaching when needed.
  • Guide campers with personal needs while encouraging full participation in activities.
  • Foster open communication with campers, parents, and staff about progress and concerns.
  • Provide first aid care when needed and maintain strict safety protocols.
  • Create a positive, inclusive environment where every camper can thrive.
  • Drive team success through collaboration and energetic leadership.
  • Model excellence in all aspects of the role.
