<Responsibilities>

• Facilitate a variety of camp activities including sports, arts and crafts, theater, and outdoor games to promote fun and learning.
• Maintain a safe environment by supervising children at all times and implementing proper behavior management techniques.
• Assist with classroom management during educational sessions or tutoring activities tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
• Provide first aid when necessary, ensuring the health and safety of all campers.
• Support children with special needs or those requiring additional assistance through compassionate care and tailored engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with fellow counselors and staff to plan daily schedules, coordinate events, and ensure smooth camp operations.

<Qualifications>

• Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, summer camp, tutoring, or babysitting is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
• Certification in first aid or CPR is preferred but not required; training can be provided.
• Strong classroom management skills with the ability to guide children positively and effectively.
• Experience in teaching, special education, sports coaching, theater arts or working with students enhances your candidacy.
• Excellent communication skills combined with patience, enthusiasm, and a team-oriented attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
