Summer Camp Counselor

Overview:

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Camp Counselors. As a Camp Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of children and create memorable experiences in a fun and safe camp environment. Duties:

- Supervise and engage with campers during daily activities, including games, sports, arts and crafts, and nature exploration

- Ensure the safety and well-being of all campers at all times

- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities and programs

- Assist in organizing and implementing special events and field trips

- Provide guidance and support to campers in resolving conflicts or challenges

- Collaborate with other camp staff to create a positive and inclusive camp environment

Skills:

- Experience in daycare, childcare, or related field is preferred

- Knowledge of first aid procedures and ability to respond to emergencies

- Experience working with students in an educational or tutoring setting is beneficial

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Ability to work well in a team environment

Requirements:

- Must be at least 18 years old

- High school diploma or equivalent required; early childhood education coursework is a plus

- Availability to work during camp hours 7:30am - 6:00pm

- Ability to pass a background check
