Job Summary

A seasonal nursing role embedded within a residential youth camp. Serve as the primary clinical resource for campers and staff all summer long — delivering hands-on pediatric care in a dynamic outdoor environment. Ideal for nurses open to relocating to another state for a purposeful, people-centered summer experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct medical care including first aid, medication administration, and emergency response
• Maintain accurate, confidential medical records, daily health logs, and incident reports
• Conduct health screenings at camper check-in and as needed throughout the season
• Communicate professionally with parents and guardians regarding health-related concerns
• Collaborate with camp leadership to uphold and reinforce health and safety protocols

Minimum Requirements

• Active RN license or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) license
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Ability to live on-site for the full duration of the camp season
• Positive, team-oriented approach in a communal living and working environment

Ideal Qualifications

• Experience in pediatric, school, or camp nursing
• Comfort practicing nursing autonomously outside a traditional hospital or clinic setting
• Openness to relocating to another state for the duration of the summer season
