Summer Nanny Plainview

A family based in Plainview is seeking a temporary summer nanny to care for their infant beginning in May through early September. This role is ideal for someone looking for a short-term, full-time summer position .

Both parents have hybrid work schedules , working from home some days and out of the home on others. They are looking for a reliable, nurturing nanny with strong infant experience who can confidently care for their baby during the workday.

The family plans to transition to daycare after Labor Day , but may continue to use the nanny for occasional babysitting in the future.

Responsibilities

• Full care for the infant
• Feeding and bottle preparation/cleaning
• Maintaining the baby’s daily routine (naps, feeding, etc.)
• Engaging in age-appropriate developmental activities
• Keeping baby-related items and spaces clean and organized

Requirements

✔️ Experience with infants (around 4–6 months old)
✔️ Must have reliable transportation to and from the home
✔️ Comfortable working in a home where parents are sometimes present
✔️ Reliable, punctual, and nurturing
