Dexter Music is looking for a teacher who is local and can teach this summer! We provide high-quality music lessons to students of all ages and levels, with a focus on inspiring a love for music. We’re looking for passionate, reliable, and talented music instructors to join our growing team. We offer in-home music lessons any time, as well as before and after school lessons at various area locations.

Position Overview
As a Music Instructor with Dexter Music, you’ll have the flexibility to create your own schedule, accept students that fit your availability, and teach the instrument(s) you love most. We are currently seeking teachers for piano and guitar

Responsibilities

• Provide private music lessons (in-person and/or virtual).
• Create engaging lesson plans tailored to each student’s needs and goals.
• Encourage and motivate students of all ages and skill levels.
• Communicate clearly with parents, students, and our team.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in at least one instrument (piano, guitar, voice, drums, bass, ukulele, etc.).
• Prior teaching or tutoring experience preferred (formal or informal).
• Reliable, professional, and passionate about music education.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.

Location: Nashville, Brentwood, and Belmont areas.
