Supervisor – Electricity (Metering)

We are seeking an experienced Supervisor – Electricity (Metering) to manage and oversee smart metering operations, including installation, maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of advanced metering systems. The role requires strong technical expertise in AMI systems and communication technologies, along with proven supervisory and field coordination experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise installation, maintenance, configuration, and troubleshooting of smart meters and AMI systems.
• Support Meter Engineers in inspections, verification, testing, and documentation activities.
• Coordinate daily with contractors and field teams to ensure smooth execution of metering works.
• Manage work orders, meter systems, and overall field operations efficiently.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve metering and communication-related issues (RF Mesh, GSM/GPRS, NB-IoT, BPL, etc.).
• Ensure QA/QC compliance and adherence to technical standards and procedures.
• Prepare accurate reports, dashboards, and field activity documentation using MS Office tools.
• Ensure timely updates of meter data and system records.
• Lead and supervise field teams while ensuring safety standards and protocols are followed.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor daily field activities to meet operational targets.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 6–8 years of experience in electrical metering with supervisory responsibilities.
• Strong experience in AMI systems, smart meters, and communication technologies (RF Mesh, GSM/GPRS, NB-IoT, BPL).
• Proven ability in field operations, troubleshooting, and meter system management.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, reporting tools, and dashboard preparation.
• Strong understanding of QA/QC processes and safety compliance in field operations.
