DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Under close supervision of the head of the department performs professional duties in supervising, coordinating, and managing the operations of the facility in the absences of the facility administrators.
- Knowledge of word processing, spreadsheets, plotting, AutoCAD, designing and other recreation related computer software.
- Experience in planning, prioritize, organize, cost, and execute facility-related projects within hospital premises and daily routine hospital facility related activities.
- Excellent public relations and communication skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, the public, and other departments; ability to follow written and oral instructions; ability to direct the work of others.
- Ensures all policies and procedures of the facility are enforced.
- Resolves concerns, conflicts, and problems of the patrons ensuring that services are provided in a professional and safe manner and should be reported and documented.
- Oversees building security and responds to all center emergencies; ensures patron and staff safety or other necessary duties.
- Conducts regular walk through of the facility to assist visual maintenance and security.
- Oversee and upgrade utility equipment-Ensure efficient operation, including preventive maintenance scheduling and execution.
- Lead a team of technicians and assign daily tasks and responsibilities.
- Maintain asset registers, spare parts inventory, and maintenance records as per the policy.
- Monitor electrical systems, generators, UPS, distribute power, coordinate with providers. Oversee plumbing—water quality, softener plants, drainage, fire hydrants, maintain elevators, BMS and Manage civil repair tasks and minor renovations
- Supervise operation and maintenance of all HVAC systems, including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, and ducting.
- Assist in preparing BOQs for engineering renovation, upgrade, or new installation projects.
- Review engineering drawings and project specifications, ensuring alignment with hospital needs. Evaluate technical submissions, vendor quotes, and tender documents.
- Track project timelines, variations, and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with DOH , Civil Defense , OSHA , and other regulatory requirements. Participate in safety audits, fire drills, and inspections. Maintain documentation for permits, inspections, and compliance certifications.

QUALIFICATION, LICENSURE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SPECIAL SKILLS
- A Diploma/graduate in engineering.
- At least Five (5) years’ experience in the same field.
- With management skills, interpersonal skills, time management, knowledge of equipment and maintenance, and analytical skills
- Good in spoken and written English. Arabic language is advantageous but not essential.
