Core Accountabilities

Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, providing guidance, coaching, and performance feedback.

Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures in warehouse operations.

Oversee the receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming raw materials and packaging items.

Coordinate with procurement and suppliers to resolve any issues related to materials quality, quantity, or delivery.

Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize storage capacity and operational efficiency.

Develop and implement inventory control measures, including cycle counting, stock rotation, and reconciliation.

Maintain accurate records of inventory levels and conduct regular audits to identify and resolve stock discrepancies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as procurement, production, and logistics, to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.

Train and educate warehouse associates on proper handling, storage, and documentation procedures.
-
Monitor and enforce adherence to warehouse safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Implement and maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.

Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software applications to track and manage inventory.

Prepare and present reports on warehouse performance, including key metrics, productivity, and quality indicators.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives within the warehouse operations.

Foster a positive team culture by promoting teamwork, open communication, and continuous learning.
People Management Accountabilities

Ensure that all subordinates have clear objectives, constructive and accurate performance feedback sessions formal annual performance appraisals, and individual development plans.
Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures
• Adhere with direction for the development and implementation of organizational unit’s policies, systems, processes and procedures, identifying potential areas of improvement to ensure efficient and effective operation.
• Comply with corporate requirements on adherence to policies, procedures and instructions related to all relevant regulatory directives to ensure a safe and risk-free environment.
Change Management

Motivate the employees and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices considering best practices.

Ensure that all departmental reports and statements are completed timely and comply with local and international principles of governance and the organization's policies and standards.
Supervisor – W/h will work in the assigned areas and might have to travel as and when needed.
Education and Certifications
-
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.

MBA or Master's in a related field (Preferred)
Experience:
-
2-3 years’ experience in warehouse operations, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Previous experience in a supervisory or team lead role is preferred.
