Supervisor For Tile laying

About the Role

WAFTS is looking for an experienced Tile Laying Supervisor to oversee residential, commercial, and high-rise building tile installation projects across Dubai and the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge of tile installation, the ability to supervise teams efficiently, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship within project deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily tile laying activities on construction sites.
• Allocate work to tile masons and helpers based on project schedules.
• Read and interpret drawings, layouts, and specifications.
• Ensure correct installation of ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, mosaic, and other tile finishes.
• Monitor surface preparation, waterproofing, screeding, leveling, and finishing works.
• Ensure alignment, spacing, grout quality, and overall finishing meet project standards.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Order and monitor site materials, tools, and equipment.
• Conduct quality inspections before handing over completed work.
• Maintain daily progress reports and manpower records.
• Enforce health and safety regulations at all times.
• Resolve on-site technical issues and maintain productivity.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of UAE experience supervising tile installation projects.
• Strong knowledge of ceramic, porcelain, marble, granite, and mosaic tile installation.
• Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate site execution.
• Experience supervising teams of tile masons and helpers.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Valid UAE driving licence is an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in residential towers, villas, hotels, commercial buildings, or fit-out projects.
• Knowledge of waterproofing systems and floor leveling.
• Experience working with luxury finishing standards.
