Corpay is looking to hire a Supplier Relationship Manager to develop supplier relationships, driving growth, retention, and profitability. This role is critical in advancing Corpay’s corporate payment products by fostering deep supplier partnerships, enhancing Customer and Supplier satisfaction, and delivering exceptional financial results. The Supplier Relationship Manager will be responsible for Card payment retention and expansion, cross-selling of payment products beyond card, and establishing strategic Supplier relationships and directions. This role will report directly to the VP of Supplier Management and Vendor Enrollment

Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
Supplier Relationship Management
- Nurture, own and deepen Supplier relationships, acting as a key liaison between vendors, clients, and internal teams.
- Build and maintain professional relationships through effective networking with customer suppliers.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with all levels (including C-level) and key personnel within the supplier organizations.
- Understand suppliers' business workflows and pain points related to payments.
- Perform supplier audits to actively review and measure supplier monetization.
- Reinforce the Corpay value proposition in the marketplace and partner in creating creative value propositions.
Strategic and Financial Oversight and Monetization
- Retain supplier monetization and secure cross-sell/up-sell opportunities for Corpay products and services.
- Demonstrate financial analysis and understanding of interchange rates, basis point rebate offerings, and Corpay revenue.
- Develop and monitor supplier financial performance, including renewal planning, pricing/contract negotiation, and profitability levels.
- Conduct supplier segmentation analysis for specific supplier areas based on risk and monetization.
Customer & Vendor Engagement
- Increase transaction monetization through proactive vendor engagement (e.g., PFY, Corpay Direct).
- Proactively address card retention challenges and create playbooks for downgrades and problematic vendors.
- Increase customer satisfaction by reducing vendor reach-outs and improving vendor satisfaction.
- Partner with the Relationship Management team to build strategy plans with clients to increase supplier acceptance.
Fraud Mitigation & Messaging
- Co-develop a proactive vendor messaging campaign around fraud to establish Corpay as a best-in-class, value-added partner.
- Leverage deflected fraud as a lead for Relationship Management teams, highlighting Corpay’s value to vendors.
Operational Excellence & Process Improvements
- Monitor payment flows, identify friction points, and recommend actionable improvements (including product inputs).
- Coordinate and influence superior customer service delivery by fostering strong intercompany relationships.
- Liaise with internal departments to ensure client needs are met and areas of concern are addressed effectively.
Thought Leadership & Industry Expertise
- Maintain knowledge in FinTech, payment processing, Supplier landscape, and clients’ industries.
- Provide feedback to management on market trends represented by Supplier Networks.
- Prepare for and lead regular business reviews, sharing best practices, industry insights, and sparking interest in additional products during supplier site visits.
Collaboration & Team Building
- Create and maintain a collaborative team of internal and external stakeholders to drive customer spend (Account Management, Client Relationship Management, Implementation, Card Follow ups, Card Retention, Payment Operations, Risk, and Product teams).
- Building and maintaining professional relationships by networking with our customers suppliers

This salary range is provided for locations which require such disclosure. Where a position or applicant may fall in a particular wage range depends on a number of factors including but not limited to skill sets, experience training licenses and certifications (if applicable), and other business and organization needs. The disclosed range has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic markets. At Corpay it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. The estimate of the minimum and maximum salary range is $70,000-80,000 plus commission.
