Supply Chain and Procurement ManagerEssential Duties and Responsibilities:- Responsible for sourcing all supply inputs for the company.
Sets and ensures an optimal supply chain strategy that is fully functional and implements supply chain process improvement techniques that maximize productivity and performance.
Responsible for executing purchases that are approved by the CEO and Exec. Chairman based upon established pricing platforms that ensure stable business relationships with key suppliers.
Manages and supervises the day-to-day operations of the plant warehouses and ensures adequacy of stock inventories, with "hand in glove" communication with Sr. QA management that affirms all inputs are delivered under applicable COA’s (Certificates of Analysis) that meet all company quality standards.
Documents, records, and reconciles all daily inbound and outbound shipments.
Assists with daily compilation and data entry of all inventory and inputs including raw materials, packaging, and finished goods.
Proactively communicates and cross-functionally resolves operational and logistics discrepancies with colleagues, clients, and transportation providers as needed.
Practices and supervises the safe, proper, and sanitary condition and operation of all warehouses, coolers, and warehouse equipment.
Must be able to safely drive and operate forklifts within the confines of the racked warehouse facility.
Must be able to safely load and unload FTL (Full Truckload) and LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) OTR (Over-the-Road) containers.
Willing and capable of operating small trucks, sprinter vans, and other small commercial vehicles as needed (CDL is not required).
Occasional overnight travel could be required.
Qualifications:- Education: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent certification required. A B.S. in Management, Economics, or Industrial Sciences preferred.
Certifications: CPM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) or other supply chain/purchasing certifications are highly preferred.
Experience:
Familiarity or experience with QuickBooks highly preferred.
Experience in food and beverage manufacturing preferred.
Must possess a Valid Driver's License with an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) that is in good standing and satisfactory to HSS/FC Insurance Carrier.
Skills:
Ability to speak, read, and write English; Bilingual (Spanish) a plus.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Must have good computer skills and can perform related digital tasks on related electronic equipment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Products.
Demonstrates good competency in mathematics and thinks analytically.
Must be well-organized and pays good attention to detail.
Must be punctual and possess a strong work ethic.
Requirements: Candidate must pass a pre-employment screening and background check.
Ability to stand for long periods of time during the production shift.
Must have good dexterity and the ability to safely use/climb ladders.
Understands when and how to safely use forklifts, safety cages, and safety harnesses when reach requirements exceed safety ladder capacities.
Regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds throughout the day; seeks assistance when heavier loads are encountered.
Must be able to work in a food and beverage processing environment where temperatures may vary.
