Job Description:
Be a part of a world-class academic healthcare system, Company, as a Supply Chain Associate at UCM Northwest Indiana. This position is a 100% onsite opportunity. You will need to be based in the greater Crown Point, Indiana area.
As a Supply Chain Associate you will utilize supply chain systems and processes, complete receiving, delivery, proper storage of goods and services to clinical customers, while ensuring that all receiving and deliveries are completed daily. You will also oversee any receiving/deliver discrepancies, and work directly with vendors, delivery drivers, or supply chain resources and clinical staff, to resolve these discrepancies. Must have the ability to assist other UChicago Medicine ambulatory sites and/or travel to these locations as needed.
Essential Job Functions

Utilize purchase order and packing documents, ensure that correct amount and part #s are received into supply chain ambulatory operations system.

Effectively operate all supply chain management systems including, but not limited to, Oracle Cloud, RF Smart, Controltex, Helios, Smartsheet and MS Office.

Ensure that all product/services received and delivered through the receiving area are delivered to the requesting location in a timely manner.

Assist with the stocking of supplies and linen to clean supply closets.

Oversee outbound deliveries – completing processes in a timely and efficient manner.

Performs other duties assigned.
Required Qualifications
-
High School diploma or GED.

2+ years in the same or closely related position familiar with inventory control, Oracle Cloud, or similar application.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Knowledge of inventory management principles and receiving processes in a distribution environment.

Able to communicate effectively with all levels of people within the organization.

Compensation & Benefits Overview
UChicago Medicine is committed to transparency in compensation and benefits. The pay range provided reflects the anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position.
The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity. Pay ranges for employees subject to Collective Bargaining Agreements are negotiated by the medical center and their respective union.
