Supply Chain Coordinator

This position exists to ensure supply chain continuum meets customer-driven timelines, and supports Purchasing by generating and tracking non-stock purchase orders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares outbound packages for shipment
• Schedules carrier pick-ups and maintains records of all inbound and outbound shipments
• Performs JDE material receipt transactions, reconciliation adjustments with Accounts Payable or Purchasing, and stockroom material issuance against work orders
• Works in customer portals to perform shipments
• Works with carriers for any special shipping requirements
• Works with other departments to coordinate shipment details (quantities etc.)
• Executes cycle counts and investigates and determines remediation plans for variances
• Processes pick/ship tickets, prepares material for outbound shipments, and expedites/resolves backlog issues
• Procures Maintenance, Repairs, Operations (MRO) and non-Production Purchase Orders
• Processes non-stock purchasing requisitions through Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Education:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a material management capacity in a manufacturing environment
• Familiar with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, i.e. Oracle and E1 required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Strong computer skills (MS Office, Windows, Outlook)
• Requires strong math aptitude
• Self-motivated and goal driven with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
• Maintain high level of transaction accuracy

Physical Requirements:

• Employee is occasionally required to stand
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to walk
• Occasionally will need to bend, stoop and squat
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or move up to 50 pounds
• Required to reach with hands and arms to handle documents and products
• Must be able to enter data into a computer by use of a key board and mouse and be able to sit for long periods at his/her desk as well as occasionally visit employees throughout the building to gather data and clarify information
