Supply Chain Excellence Senior Manager ()

Job Description

Lead, drive the Supply Chain Department towards continuous development and deployment of best in class practices, and maximize business alignment between all stakeholders (Supply Chain/Organization) by improving current functional capabilities towards collaboration and communication for supply chain strategy. Design operational capacities for day to day operation and lead the entire Supply Chain Projects.

Accountabilities Supply Chain Strategy
  • Lead integrations for supply chain strategy across all functions (internal or external), facilitating requirements with other functions through cross function projects.
  • Manage execution of the supply chain strategy with all project parties (consultants, contractors, and team members).
  • Lead the transformation journey of safe startup of projects while improving business turnover through a series of projects and cross functions activities.
  • Design training procedures for the entire Supply Chain aligned with best practice.
  • Formulate best practice and learnings captured for supply chain strategy projects as a base for future improvements.
  • Manage supply chain performance and capacities monitored and guided by using best IT systems technologies.
Leads the Excellence Development Function through
  • Create, merge, and simplify process roadmap for supply chain initiatives with other stakeholders.
  • Evaluate best in class technologies, KPIs, practices among competitors and global retailers in accordance with APICS.
  • Encourage best practice sharing through meetings and workshops with different stakeholders.
  • Cascade roadmap plans within Supply Chain/Other Functions to ensure synergy at the company level.
  • Plan proposals and business justifications to top management to set the roadmap for implementation of new initiatives based on international benchmarks.
  • Lead new initiatives and innovations as an excellence leader through completion and post evaluation to assure competitiveness, innovation, and application of latest understandings and technologies to meet market challenges.
Leads the Supply Chain Excellence Initiatives Functions Through
  • Define new methods for improving the supply chain process by using score p for process mapping.
  • Develop lean thinking, monitor and track progress, and apply Six Sigma techniques for systematic improvement.
  • Evaluate initiative outputs and recommend to top management with ultimate goals and way forward.
  • Ensure development, continual improvement, and execution of systems and procedures for operating and managing human resources, information, physical facilities, and equipment in accordance with APICS best practice.
  • Drive sustainable supply chain improvements in maturity development, cost optimization, service level, and inventory optimization across business units/regions.
  • Build and monitor required SLAs (Supply Chain/Other Departments), review and update measures, and take proper actions to ensure adherence and efficiency.
  • Lead awards, certifications, and accreditation functions that prepare supply chain sub departments for international standards (e.g., European standards for excellence, APICS).

Duties are not limited to the above; may perform other duties as assigned.

  • Indoors: 70%
  • Outdoors: 30%
  • Working Days: 5 days
  • Days off: 2 days
  • Working Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (1 hour break)
Job Requirements Education
  • BSc Degree
  • CSCP Certification or comparable in Supply Chain Management
  • PMP Certified
  • SCOR endorsement or intensive supply chain performance indicators course
  • Certified KPI Professional and Practitioner
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience at the SC Management level in a relevant industry.
Computer Skills
  • MS Office Suite
  • Oracle implementation experience
