Job Title: Supply Chain Management

Location: Rochester, NY

Pay Range: $35-$40/hr on W2

Duration: 12 Contract (Temp-Perm)

Description:

• Responsible for developing, implementing and administering supply chain programs, tools and processes for multiple supply chain functions including commodity management, material management, procurement and subcontracts.
• Ensures sourcing efforts meet business goals and objectives.
• Works with functional leaders to perform analysis and identify areas for performance improvement.
• Oversees and supports implementation of strategic initiatives, as well as activities related to global sourcing, supplier selection, product delivery specifications, and quality.
• Establishes, implements, and maintains policies, procedures, and material control systems to reduce costs, streamline procedures, and implement solutions.
• Develops and maintains working relationships with global supply chain partners.
• Designs and implements business metrics to monitor, track, and report sourcing project progress.
• Experienced professional with proficient knowledge of job area and practical knowledge of project management.
• May manage projects or processes with general supervision.
• Communicates with contacts inside and outside of own department to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures.
• Recommends enhancements to systems and processes.
• Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results.
• Provides business analytics and reporting to functional areas or projects/programs. Identifies and develops metrics by working with users and stakeholders to understand data visualization and reporting requirements.
• Translates business results into meaningful metrics and recommendations aimed at improving performance.
• Analyzes business processes and problems to formulate and develop recommendations to meet customer and/or internal project requirements.
