Supply Chain Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Supply Chain Management
  • Oversee the entire SCM function including procurement, vendor development, logistics, inventory, and distribution.
  • Develop and implement effective SCM strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Purchase Order (PO) Generation & Vendor Management
  • Manage PO generation and ensure accuracy and compliance with organizational policies.
  • Identify, evaluate, and register vendors while ensuring timely negotiations for the best commercial and contractual terms.
  • Build strong vendor relationships to ensure consistent supply quality and service.
  • Material Dispatch & Logistics
  • Ensure smooth and timely material dispatches in line with customer requirements and project deadlines.
  • Monitor logistics activities to ensure cost-effectiveness, efficiency, and compliance with E-way bills and challans.
  • Material & Inventory Management
  • Lead material planning, stocking, and distribution to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Maintain and review stock reports regularly to ensure accurate inventory tracking.
  • Implement best practices for warehouse and material management.
  • Invoicing & Documentation
  • Oversee vendor invoicing, documentation, and payment processing with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and organizational policies.
  • MIS & Reporting
  • Generate SCM-related MIS reports for management review and decision-making.
  • Analyze stock reports, logistics data, and vendor performance metrics to improve efficiency.
  • Team Leadership & Process Improvement
  • Lead and mentor the SCM team to achieve organizational objectives.
  • Drive process improvements to optimize cost, efficiency, and turnaround time.


Key Requirements

  • Qualification: B.Tech in Electricals or Electronics (Mandatory).
  • Experience: Up to 20 years of proven experience in Supply Chain Management, preferably in manufacturing, EPC, or engineering industries.
  • Strong expertise in procurement, negotiation, vendor registration, logistics, inventory, and invoicing .
  • Excellent understanding of E-way bills, challans, MIS reporting, and stock management .
  • Proficiency in ERP/SCM software and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure with strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
