Supply Chain Manager

Nordex is global leader in wind turbine manufacturing, and we are excited to announce that we are expanding our footprint in Türkiye with a new blade production plant in İzmir. As we are growing with a new production plant, we are looking for a qualified and experienced Supply Chain Manager to be responsible for the following daily operations.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with global standards
• Set performance targets and lead the team with a focus on safety and continuous improvement

Governance & Global Alignment

• Ensure compliance with global SCM processes, standards, and KPIs
• Provide regular reporting and integrate global priorities at the plant level

Procurement & Logistics

• Manage procurement of materials, components, and indirect spend
• Maintain supplier relationships and oversee import/export operations
• Coordinate inbound logistics and ensure regulatory compliance

Inventory & Warehouse Management

• Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure efficient warehouse operations
• Guarantee timely material supply to production and manage waste handling
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards

Performance & Cost Control

• Analyze KPIs, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions to meet targets (e.g., DIO, OTIF, accuracy, SMI)
• Monitor budget adherence and lead cost-saving initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields
• Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain roles, including 5 years in leadership, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments (automotive is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of logistics and warehouse operations
• Proven experience with procurement, cost control, and planning.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP S/4HANA preferred), with advanced expertise in MRP.
• Fluency in English is a must
• Strong communicator with a proactive, analytical, and safety-conscious approach.
