Job Summary
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing clinic inventory, storage, and supply chain operations to ensure accurate stock levels, compliance, and uninterrupted availability of medical and operational supplies. The role focuses on optimizing processes, coordinating with stakeholders, and driving efficiency across all clinics.
Responsibilities
- Clinic Inventory & Storage Management
- Manage and control the main and sub storage rooms ensuring proper organization, safety, and accessibility of all medical and operational supplies.
- Implement and maintain inventory control procedures, including FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) practices, stock rotation, and expiry monitoring.
- Ensure accurate stock levels, traceability, and documentation for all inventory movements within clinics.
- Monitor stock utilization and coordinate timely replenishment to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Establish standardized storage practices aligned with company supply chain policies.
- Staff Training & Capability Development
- Train nurses, clinic coordinators, and operational staff on inventory procedures, stock handling, and supply chain best practices.
- Develop and deliver standard operating procedures (SOPs) for clinic inventory management.
- Conduct regular training sessions and refresher programs on FEFO practices, documentation, and stock accountability.
- Support clinics in building strong operational discipline in inventory handling.
- Compliance, Monitoring & Process Control
- Closely monitor inventory compliance, document quality and adherence to supply chain policies across all clinics.
- Conduct periodic audits and operational reviews of clinic stock rooms and inventory processes.
- Identify gaps in processes and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Ensure accurate record keeping, traceability, and reporting of stock movements and discrepancies.
- Stakeholder Coordination & Supply Continuity
- Act as the primary liaison between clinics, nursing team, central procurement, Main & sub storage area, warehouses, and suppliers.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to plan/forecast, raise demand, ensure timely delivery, and maintain adequate supply levels.
- Support clinics in organizing and finalizing storage requirements, planning requisitions and improving operational workflows.
- Ensure high end-user satisfaction by maintaining availability of required medical and operational supplies.
- Supply Chain Operation
- Work closely with warehouse and operation teams to ensure stock accuracy.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid stockouts or overstocking.
- Collaborate and manage with warehouse and operations team to ensure stock accuracy.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities (if any).
- Support demand forecasting and supply planning processes.
- Reduce order time, delivery time and improve supply chain efficiency.
- Assist in demand forecasting and planning activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role in the medical or insurance industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control practices (e.g., FEFO, stock rotation, traceability)
- Experience in process improvement, compliance, and conducting audits
- Ability to train and guide operational staff on procedures and best practices
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
