Job Purpose
The Supply Chain Manager will lead the end-to-end supply chain strategy for Midea Group across Saudi Arabia. This includes managing international inbound logistics, local warehousing, last-mile distribution, and procurement, ensuring that our innovative home solutions reach customers with maximum efficiency and minimal lead times.
Key Responsibilities

Strategic Operations:
Develop and implement a robust supply chain framework that supports Midea’s growth in the KSA market, focusing on cost-optimization and digitalization.

Inbound Logistics & Customs:
Oversee the importation of goods from global factories. Manage relationships with clearing agents to navigate
ZATCA
(Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority) regulations and ensure compliance with
SABER/SASO
certifications.

Demand Planning & Inventory:
Utilize advanced forecasting tools to align inventory levels with seasonal demand Minimize aging stock while ensuring high availability for key retailers and distributors.

Warehouse & Distribution:
Lead the management of regional distribution centers. Oversee 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) providers to ensure high performance in storage, handling, and "last-mile" delivery to end consumers and project sites.

Procurement & Vendor Management:
Source and negotiate contracts with local service providers, ensuring all agreements meet Midea’s global quality and ethical standards.

Process Automation:
Leverage ERP systems (like SAP or Oracle) and WMS to enhance data visibility and automate reporting for real-time decision-making.
Requirements & Qualifications

Education:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, or Engineering. Professional certifications (e.g.,
CSCP, CLTD, or PMP
) are highly valued.

Experience:
* Minimum
5–10 years
in supply chain/logistics management.

Significant experience within the Home Appliance industries.

Proven track record of managing large-scale operations within the Middle East, specifically Saudi Arabia.

Technical Skills:
* Deep understanding of KSA customs laws and international shipping (Incoterms).

Proficiency in ERP software and advanced Excel/Data Analytics.

Soft Skills:
Exceptional negotiation skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Native or professional fluency in
Arabic and English
