Role Overview

The Supply Chain Manager – Domestic Customers will be responsible for end-to-end supply chain operations for the domestic market. The role focuses on demand planning, procurement coordination, production & inventory management, logistics execution, customer service, and continuous improvement, ensuring high service levels at optimized cost.

Key Responsibilities1. Demand & Supply Planning

  • Coordinate with domestic customers (LG, Samsung, DANA – Domestic, Group Units) to gather demand forecasts
  • Prepare supply plans aligned with production capacity and inventory targets
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and drive planning process improvements

2. Procurement & Vendor Coordination

  • Coordinate with customers and internal purchase teams for RM/PM procurement
  • Track supplier performance on quality, delivery, and cost
  • Support negotiation of contracts, lead times, and procurement schedules

3. Production & Inventory Management

  • Ensure material availability to support production plans
  • Maintain optimum inventory levels to meet service requirements
  • Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, and excess inventory

4. Logistics & Distribution

  • Plan and execute domestic logistics and dispatch operations
  • Ensure high OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery performance
  • Optimize freight costs, transport routes, and logistics partners

5. Customer Service & Coordination

  • Act as the primary supply chain interface for domestic customers
  • Manage order processing, tracking, and delivery schedules
  • Coordinate with Production, Quality, Finance, and other departments

6. Performance Tracking & Reporting

  • Track KPIs such as forecast accuracy, OTIF, inventory turnover, lead times, and logistics cost
  • Prepare MIS and performance reports for management review

7. Continuous Improvement

  • Identify cost-reduction and process improvement opportunities
  • Drive adoption of best supply chain practices, digital tools, and automation

Required Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of domestic supply chain operations
  • Hands-on experience with SAP systems
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, data analysis)
  • Strong coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain / Logistics / Engineering / Business
  • MBA in Supply Chain / Operations preferred

Salary

₹8 – 10 LPA (or ₹50,000 – ₹60,000 per month, based on experience & interview)
