Job Summary

As a Supply Chain Officer, you will support the day-to-day purchasing activities to ensure materials and products are ordered, managed, and delivered in line with business requirements.

You will be responsible for managing purchase orders from order placement through to shipment, working closely with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and accurate execution.

This role is ideal for someone looking to build a career in procurement within a fast-paced, international business.

Key Responsibilities

• Raise and manage purchase orders in company systems
• Manage the full PO lifecycle from order placement through to shipping
• Monitor order progress and proactively follow up with suppliers
• Maintain accurate data including pricing, lead times and order details
• Communicate any delays, risks or issues to relevant stakeholders
• Coordinate with freight forwarders to track shipments and ensure timely delivery
• Support supplier performance monitoring and issue resolution
• Assist in identifying cost-saving opportunities and process improvements

Requirements

• 1–3 years experience in procurement, supply chain, or a related role (preferred but not essential)
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Qualification: BBA/MBA (Supply Chain preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g. filtering, basic formulas, data handling)
• Experience using ERP systems (preferred but not essential)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn
