Supply Chain Operations Analyst

Colson Group is in the process of upgrading its supply chain processes and systems. The Supply Chain Operations Analyst will primarily be responsible for maintaining, improving and developing critical supply chain data and analysis tools. This role provides the crucial support and execution needed to continuously improve our group supply chain strategy.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Responsible for ensuring network compliance and process optimization to drive efficiencies.
  • Ownership of Supply Chain Data integrity.
  • Support and lead cross functional projects focused on cost savings and upgraded customer experience.
  • Stakeholder management across all levels and departments including the office of the CEO.
  • Responsible for maintaining, developing, and interpreting standard reporting with a key focus on the integration of existing tools and processes.
  • Strong desire to progress in the organization. This job opening is positioned well with high visibility throughout the organization.
  • Deliver analytical and data-driven tools to support decisions made across multiple functions, including but not limited to: distribution, supply chain planning, transportation, and sourcing.
  • Abide by all Colson policies and procedures.
  • Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & ABILITIES

  • Experience of working with ERP systems. EPICOR a plus but not required.
  • Experience of working with databases and data visualization tools. Strong Excel skills required and Qlik/Data Visualization a plus.
  • Results oriented and analytical individual with experience working with large, incomplete/inconsistent data sets. Able to recognize inconsistencies/oddities in data and act to correct them.
  • Ability to influence others not in their direct reporting line to produce results.
  • Experience managing a wide variety of stakeholders and aligning various groups to a single vision.
  • Well organized, proactive, independent, team player, keen to progress.
  • Able to prioritize and work to deadlines. Able to clearly communicate and align priorities with others.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 3-5 years of full-time work experience ideal.
  • Bachelor’s degree in operations, engineering, supply chain or related data-driven field required.
  • Prior supply chain process management and optimization experience preferred. Preferably in a corporate setting but all process management experience considered.
