Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Pricing Officer to join our dynamic team. As a key player in our supply chain management, you will be responsible for developing and implementing pricing strategies that optimize costs, enhance profitability, and ensure competitiveness in the market.

Responsibilities:

1. Pricing Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of market trends, competitor pricing, and internal cost structures to formulate effective pricing strategies.

2. Cost Optimization: Collaborate with various departments to identify cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain, ensuring efficient resource allocation.

3. Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, economic indicators, and changes in market dynamics to adjust pricing strategies accordingly.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, logistics, and finance teams to integrate pricing strategies seamlessly into overall supply chain management.

5. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing terms with suppliers and other partners to secure favourable agreements that align with organizational objectives.

6. Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date pricing databases, ensuring accessibility to relevant stakeholders and facilitating informed decision-making.

7. Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with pricing regulations, industry standards, and contractual agreements.

8. Performance Evaluation: Assess the effectiveness of pricing strategies through regular performance reviews, making adjustments as needed to achieve financial goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience in pricing analysis, preferably in a supply chain or logistics environment.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Familiarity with supply chain processes and logistics.
• Detail-oriented and able to manage complex data sets.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
