Procurement & Logistics AM

We are looking for a results-driven Assistant Manager of Procurement & Logistics to oversee our end-to-end supply chain operations. You will play a pivotal role in optimizing our sourcing strategies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring our logistics network is efficient and cost-effective. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who isn't afraid to dive into the data to improve our bottom line.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Sourcing:

• Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-quality suppliers while maintaining strong long-term partnerships.
• Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, pricing, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Cost Optimization: Analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.

Logistics & Distribution:

• Workflow Oversight: Manage daily inbound and outbound logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery and minimal disruptions.
• Inventory Control: Collaborate with warehouse teams to monitor stock levels and implement lean inventory practices.
• Compliance: Ensure all shipments comply with local and international shipping regulations, customs requirements, and safety standards.

Leadership & Analysis:

• Team Support: Assist the Department Manager in supervising staff, setting KPIs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Reporting: Prepare and present monthly reports on procurement spend, logistics efficiency, and vendor performance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Experience: 3–5 years of experience in procurement or logistics, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior-level role.
• Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) and experience with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).
• Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to interpret data and turn it into actionable supply chain strategies.
• Communication: Exceptional negotiation and interpersonal skills.
