Supply Chain & Purchase Manager (Oil Manufacturing Industry)

Position: Purchase Manager
Industry: Oil Manufacturing
Qualification: B.Tech (Mandatory)
Experience: 5+ Years (Preferably in Edible Oil / Refinery Industry)

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle procurement of maintenance spares and liquid handling systems, including pumps, pipelines, valves, storage tanks, and utilities.
• Manage purchase of packaging materials, chemicals, and edible oils.
• Develop and manage vendors to ensure quality and cost efficiency.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers.
• Handle import procurement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production disruption.
• Optimize procurement costs while maintaining quality standards.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for smooth plant operations.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical knowledge of oil manufacturing processes and liquid handling systems.
• Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills.
• Good understanding of supply chain management.
• Strong commercial acumen and cost control abilities.
• Ability to manage high-volume purchases efficiently.
