Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Supply Chain Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring efficient logistics, and enhancing overall operational performance. This position requires a strong understanding of supply chain management principles.

The Supply Chain Specialist will work closely with the Logistics Director and Warehouse Manager to coordinate order processing, warehouse management, and shipping for our growing business. This role is ideal for someone eager to contribute to improving operations in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Logistics:

  • Learn current logistics procedures and help refine and improve processes.
  • Process all incoming orders and manage small parcel and freight shipments daily, including printing labels.
  • Track shipments, maintain accurate logs of shipping and receiving transactions, and resolve discrepancies or damages.
  • Schedule deliveries and pickups, coordinate with carriers, and select cost-effective shipping methods.
  • Manage customer service requests related to shipping.
  • Assist with inventory management and production planning as needed.

Warehouse Support:

  • Serve as chief back-up to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Maintain working knowledge of shipment protocols, inventory management, and other warehouse policies.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Assist in ad hoc projects to improve operational efficiency.
  • Support cross-functional teams as needed.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., NetSuite) and shipping platforms (UPS, FedEx, Redhawk) preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to execute in a fast-paced environment.
  • Open-minded, willing to work hard, and contribute to operational improvement.
  • Experience with Home Depot/Lowes logistics is a plus.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English helpful.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
