Supply Chain Specialist -Industrial Machinery 33312

A global automotive parts manufacturing company is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist in Flowery Branch GA area. This position is responsible for overall supply chain coordination. This position is responsibilities include organizing and monitoring storage and distribution of goods.

Responsibilities for Supply Chain Specialist:

· Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services

· Run Monthly reports for cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory reporting

· Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers

· Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency

· Communicate with partners and freight forwarders to monitor shipments. Compile shipping documentation and forward to appropriate department.

· Resolve any arising problems or complaints; and liaise / negotiate with customers, carriers, vendors, etc. for problems and/or complicated issues.

· Arrange team associates with supervision and continue to review progress and performance to meet the goal as planned in timely manner.

· Perform other duties assigned

Requirements for Supply Chain Specialist:

· Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related discipline or equivalent experience.

· Must have 5+ years supply chain experience

· Must have experience/ knowledge in SAP, EDI.

· Excellent written and verbal interpersonal communication /presentation skills

· Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

· Detail oriented and Ability to multitask
