Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Supply & Logistics Planner to join our team and support the efficient management of our supply chain and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing the flow of materials, inventory, and resources across our supply chain network. This role requires a deep understanding of logistics processes, strong experience with ERP systems, and familiarity with the logistics network in Saudi Arabia. The Supply & Logistics Planner will collaborate with the logistics and procurement teams to ensure the timely and cost-effective movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supply Chain Planning: Develop and implement detailed supply and logistics plans to ensure the timely delivery of materials, equipment, and spare parts based on operational needs.
  • Inventory Planning & Management: Coordinate inventory levels to ensure that materials are available to meet production and maintenance schedules while minimizing excess stock.
  • ERP System Management: Utilize ERP systems to plan and monitor supply chain activities, track inventory, and update procurement and distribution requirements in real-time.
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure smooth transportation and delivery processes, including route planning, shipment scheduling, and tracking.
  • Demand Forecasting: Work closely with the procurement and production teams to forecast material requirements and plan accordingly to prevent supply shortages or delays.
  • Supplier & Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any potential issues related to logistics and supply chain disruptions.
  • Cost Optimization: Evaluate and propose improvements to logistics and supply chain processes to reduce costs while maintaining service levels and meeting customer requirements.
  • Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards. Prepare reports on logistics performance, inventory levels, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Problem-Solving & Issue Resolution: Address supply chain issues proactively, providing solutions for delays, shortages, or disruptions in the logistics chain.
  • Continuous Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to optimize the logistics network, reduce lead times, and enhance operational efficiency.
