About the Role:
The role entails supporting the end-to-end placement of reinsurance enquiries under the supervision of a Broker. - Assist in advising cedants on appropriate reinsurance structures and solutions, including limits, layers, markets, subjectivities and warranties implications, under the direction of the Broker.
- Provide administrative and technical support during negotiations, risk management discussions, and claims-related discussions.
- Prepare and maintain accurate placement documentation: Slips, underwriter submissions, policy wordings, endorsements, and bespoke clauses as directed by the Broker.
- Support the building and retention of relationships with cedants, reinsurers, and other partners through timely, professional, and consistent communication.
- Accompany and assist Brokers during travel to key markets and conferences as required.
- Maintain absolute confidentiality and compliance across all documents and communication.
- Ensure strict adherence to internal SOPs, regulatory requirements, and company compliance standards.
- Prepare timely reports and updates on pipeline status, pending follow-ups, conversions, and market feedback to support Broker oversight.
