Support Services Administrative Assistant –
Full Time: Monday – Friday 7a-4p
Pay: $21.00/HR
Make a difference behind the scenes here at Samaritan Village. We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Information Technology (IT) teams. This role is key to helping our community run smoothly and ensuring our residents enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment.
What You’ll Do
- Provide administrative support across multiple departments, helping coordinate daily operations.
- Process and track invoices, purchase orders, and department expenses.
- Maintain organized records of equipment, supplies, keys, and ID badges for staff and residents.
- Assist with scheduling, communications, and logistics for meetings, events, and projects.
- Support the Building Maintenance Manager with data collection, reporting, and project coordination.
- Use our work order system to track maintenance requests and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Conduct or assist with facility inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Greet residents, staff, visitors, and vendors with warmth and professionalism, providing excellent customer service.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning new systems.
- Positive attitude, professionalism, and a commitment to teamwork and service.
- Prior administrative experience—especially in senior living, hospitality, or property management—is a plus!

License, Education, and Experience Requirements
- High school diploma and a minimum of 2 years administrative support experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
- Experience handling confidential matters with discretion.
- Strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills.
- The ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple competing priorities.
- Valid California driver’s license and clear driving record.
