Support Services Administrative Assistant –

Full Time: Monday – Friday 7a-4p

Pay: $21.00/HR

Make a difference behind the scenes here at Samaritan Village. We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support our Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Information Technology (IT) teams. This role is key to helping our community run smoothly and ensuring our residents enjoy a safe, comfortable, and well-maintained environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide administrative support across multiple departments, helping coordinate daily operations.
  • Process and track invoices, purchase orders, and department expenses.
  • Maintain organized records of equipment, supplies, keys, and ID badges for staff and residents.
  • Assist with scheduling, communications, and logistics for meetings, events, and projects.
  • Support the Building Maintenance Manager with data collection, reporting, and project coordination.
  • Use our work order system to track maintenance requests and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct or assist with facility inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Greet residents, staff, visitors, and vendors with warmth and professionalism, providing excellent customer service.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning new systems.
  • Positive attitude, professionalism, and a commitment to teamwork and service.
  • Prior administrative experience—especially in senior living, hospitality, or property management—is a plus!

License, Education, and Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma and a minimum of 2 years administrative support experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
  • Experience handling confidential matters with discretion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills.
  • The ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple competing priorities.
  • Valid California driver’s license and clear driving record.

  • Health screening clearance
