Support Services and Supplies Manager

The jobs in this level are responsible for directing the logistics function to ensure the uninterrupted supply at optimum cost and to improve the long term relationships with key logistics partners, enhancing quality, price and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Participates in the formulation and implementation of the Warehousing & Logistics department plans to ensure alignment with Dallah's overall objectives and business plans.
• Participates in the development of department policies and procedures and ensures implementation of all relevant procedural/legislative requirements.
• Manages the day to day operations of the department by facilitating related professional work processes to achieve high performance standards.
• Supervises the activities and work of subordinates to ensure efficient execution within the specified area of the unit.
• Prepares the unit budget and ensures activities are carried out within the assigned budget; manages achievement of objectives by setting targets, developing and motivating staff to maximize performance.
• Acts as the source of specialist management for logistics officers on critical items to complete operational and planning tasks and allocates activities cost effectively.
• Develops and maintains long term relationships with logistics partners.
• Examines and approves major contracts.
• Implements improvements to existing logistics methods to introduce best practice within the function.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor degree in Management or Engineering.
• Experience: 7-10 years of related experience in the field; 3 years in a managerial position.
