Position Summary
The primary role of this position is to provide tier-one technology support in classrooms throughout the building. Additionally, the position assists in managing and deploying the fleet of mobile devices assigned to staff and students.
Position Responsibilities
-
Provide first-level support for building technology including laptops, desktops, tablets, mobile phones, printers, copiers, network connectivity, classroom displays and audio-visual systems

Assists with distribution of staff and student devices.

Implements "Damage, Theft, Loss or Failure to Return" processes

Assists the Device Specialist to ensure the timely repair of devices
-
Assists with installation of new equipment and distribution or elimination of outdated equipment.

Completes assigned technology work orders in a timely manner

Assists in the management of Digital Signage systems

Takes direction from the building administrators in the prioritization and completion of technology support tasks

Provides instructional support and assistance in areas related to technology as needed

Performs other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor(s).

Desired Qualifications
-
Experience using and providing support for a wide variety of technology systems, including; laptops, tablets, mobile phones, e-mail, copiers, printers, desk phones, voicemail, productivity and instructional applications, macOS, iOS, Windows, etc.

Experience providing support to users in-person, via telephone and via e-mail

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Highly organized, flexible, and able to manage multiple unrelated tasks simultaneously

Customer service oriented
-
Ability to regularly lift up to 25 lbs
-
Ability to walk and climb stairs on a daily basis
-
Ability to manage high stress situations in a calm and efficient manner
Education/Qualifications:
High school diploma
Any equivalent combination of education and experience.
Travel Requirements:

Travels to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
