We're looking for a skilled Surgical Dental Assistant with hands-on implant and advanced cosmetic experience to join our high-volume, specialty-focused practice. If you thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment and take pride in clinical precision, we want to hear from you.
What you'll do
- Chair-side assist with implant placement — single units, All-on-4/6, bone grafting, sinus lifts
- Prepare and organize surgical trays, guided surgery kits, and implant components
- Assist with veneers, crowns, full-mouth cosmetic cases, and composite bonding
- Take digital impressions using intraoral scanners (iTero, 3Shape, or similar)
- Monitor patient vitals during sedation-assisted procedures
- Sterilize instruments and maintain compliance with OSHA and CDC standards
- Capture and process radiographs including panoramic and CBCT imaging
- Coordinate with dental labs on case submissions, shade communication, and timelines
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years dental assisting experience, at least 2 in a surgical or implant-focused practice
- Hands-on implant procedure experience — required
- Experience with cosmetic cases: veneers, full-mouth rehab, digital impressions
- Current CDA, RDA, or state-equivalent certification
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- State radiation/X-ray certification
- Proficiency with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
Nice to have
- Guided implant surgery experience (Nobel Biocare, Straumann, Zimmer Biomet)
- Sedation assistance training or certification
- Intraoral scanning / CAD-CAM workflow experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish
