Overview:
Community Health Partners (CHP) is seeking a board-certified/board-eligible general surgeon with the completion of a surgical oncology fellowship to practice full time with our diverse and specialized surgical team.

Our team consists of board-certified physicians offering a full-spectrum, multi-specialty surgical practice focusing on general, breast, vein, advanced laparoscopic and robotic, thoracic, oncologic, and elective surgeries.

The ideal candidate will provide exceptional and compassionate care and will be a positive, trusted colleague. The existing group is providing care in the greater Clovis, California area, including our larger neighbor Fresno. The practice provides surgical care at Clovis Community Medical Center (CCMC).

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a high standard of medical care to individuals in the community.
  • Work alongside staff members asa partof an integrated, interdisciplinary team.
  • Develop and deliver a model of care that supports the wellness of our patients and staff.
  • Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for patients.
  • Effectivelycommunicate treatment plans with patients, family members, and other medical staff members.
  • Assist and advise staff members on challenging cases, as needed.
  • Refer patients to specialists or other practices, asappropriate.
  • Maintainimmaculate documentation of all procedures and practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Education
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) required
Licenses and Certifications
Board Eligible and/or Board Certified in General Surgery
Completion of an ACGME accredited fellowship in Surgical Oncology
Board Eligible and/or Board Certified in Surgical Oncology
Eligible to be licensed to practice Medicine in the state of California required
