Survey Resource Manager

Position Overview

The Survey Resource Manager will be responsible for overseeing the allocation, scheduling, and performance of survey personnel and equipment resources. This role ensures that survey operations are efficiently planned, executed, and aligned with project timelines and client requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, organizational, and technical skills in land and geospatial surveying.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage deployment of survey teams, equipment, and vehicles for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Monitor project schedules, progress, and manpower requirements to ensure optimal resource utilization.
• Supervise field survey teams and provide technical and logistical support as required.
• Maintain a centralized database of survey resources, certifications, and availability.
• Liaise with project managers, clients, and senior management to align resource planning with operational priorities.
• Oversee calibration, maintenance, and inventory management of survey instruments and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and quality standards in all survey operations.
• Participate in recruitment, training, and performance evaluation of survey staff.
• Prepare regular reports on manpower utilization, productivity, and equipment performance.
• Contribute to process improvement and cost-efficiency initiatives in the resource management function.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Geomatics, Survey Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of land and geodetic survey methods, GPS/GNSS systems, and total station operations.
• Proficiency in survey software and resource planning tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities under tight deadlines.
