Surveyor / GIS Technician / Team Lead – Islamabad

We’re looking for a Surveyor/GIS Technician/Team Lead to join our team and play a key role in FTTH (Fiber to the Home) network design and planning for projects.

Job Overview

As a Surveyor/GIS Technician, you will be responsible for conducting field surveys, preparing base maps, and designing FTTH networks using industry-standard tools and guidelines. You’ll ensure data accuracy, maintain survey records, and support database management for ongoing FTTH projects.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct physical field surveys for FTTH network design
Prepare base maps and ODN designs using ArcGIS and AutoCAD
Ensure all essential information is collected and incorporated into maps
Prepare and maintain survey reports and project documentation
Apply technical knowledge of GPON and OSP implementation standards
Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders

Core Competencies

Hands-on experience with ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and Google Earth
Strong command of MS Word and MS Excel
In-depth knowledge of FTTH network design & deployment
Awareness of telecom industry challenges and emerging technologies
Excellent teamwork and communication skills

Experience & Qualifications

• 1–2 years of experience in a relevant field
• Diploma (Civil/Survey) or FA / FSc / ICS

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs55,000.00 per month
