About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive IT Manager with 10–12 years of proven experience to oversee and manage IT operations across the group. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and efficiency of all IT systems while leading the IT team and driving digital transformation initiatives.

This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise who can manage infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise IT projects while ensuring seamless IT support for all departments. The IT Manager must also be available to respond to critical IT incidents and system issues when required.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & Operations

  • Manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage systems, and databases.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of IT systems and services.
  • Oversee system upgrades, patches, backups, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Monitor and manage network performance, system health, and IT service availability.

Cybersecurity & Compliance

  • Implement and maintain IT security policies, cybersecurity frameworks, and data protection protocols.
  • Monitor systems for vulnerabilities, security breaches, and cyber threats.
  • Ensure compliance with internal IT policies and relevant data protection regulations.
  • Conduct regular security audits, risk assessments, and vulnerability management.

IT Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, supervise, and mentor the IT team, ensuring effective performance and professional development.
  • Assign tasks, monitor workloads, and provide guidance to ensure timely delivery of IT services.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement within the IT department.

Project Management & Digital Transformation

  • Plan, lead, and implement IT projects and digital initiatives across the organization.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to identify technology needs and recommend solutions.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Support automation, system integration, and digital transformation strategies.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with IT vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
  • Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and procurement of IT equipment and software.
  • Coordinate IT services across multiple departments and group entities to ensure operational efficiency.

IT Support & Incident Management

  • Ensure effective IT support services for all departments.
  • Develop incident management procedures and escalation protocols.
  • Provide support and availability for critical IT issues and emergency situations when required.

Requirements

Experience

  • 10–12 years of experience in IT operations, infrastructure management, or a similar leadership role.
  • Proven experience managing enterprise IT environments and teams.
  • Demonstrated success in leading IT projects and implementing technology solutions.

Technical Expertise

Strong knowledge of:

  • Network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, routing, switching)
  • Server administration (Windows/Linux)
  • Database management systems
  • Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
  • Cybersecurity frameworks and tools
  • Virtualization technologies
  • Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning

Education

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to critical IT incidents

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, CISM, PMP, Microsoft, Cisco, or AWS certifications.
  • Experience managing IT operations for multi-entity or group organizations.
  • Exposure to ERP systems, enterprise applications, and digital transformation initiatives.
