Proudly serving the Los Osos community since 2015, Kuma Sushi is growing our team. We are currently hiring skilled and motivated Sushi Chefs for both full-time and part-time positions.

Position Overview

As a Kuma Sushi Chef, your responsibilities will include:

• Preparing cold menu items with precision and consistency
• Preparing sushi, rolls, sashimi, and specialty items to our quality standards
• Setting up and breaking down the sushi bar for day and evening shifts
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation
• Supporting team members and contributing to a collaborative kitchen environment

We are seeking individuals who take pride in their craft, work efficiently under pressure, and maintain a professional, positive attitude throughout each shift.

Compensation & Perks

Competitive Pay:

• $18.00–$24.00 per hour + tips
• Starting pay above minimum wage and based on experience

• Monday through Friday

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
